Saxophone Lessons in Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn
Why choose NYMC saxophone lessons?
Experienced Instructors
Our saxophone instructors are chosen for their extensive teaching resumes as well as their busy performance schedules. They are also members of your community and have been living and working in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, Harlem, and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re brand new to the instrument, an adult interested in jazz, classical, alto, tenor, soprano, baritone sax, you’re a semi-pro player, or you have a young student in K-12 who is interested in auditioning for honors bands or college, our saxophone teachers are ready to work with you.
Private Saxophone Lessons In Your Home or at a Convenient Studio in the City
Many of our saxophone students prefer to have lessons in home, and we have teachers who live in various parts of the city so no one has to travel too far. If that’s not suitable for your situation, we have hourly rental studios around the city including near Bryant Park and Park Slope.

The saxophone…
…is one of the most popular instruments in jazz, pop, R&B, and many other music styles, as well as being a major member of concert bands, marching bands, and school jazz bands. And although it’s not often seen in orchestras (because it was invented in the 1840s) the saxophone is also a beautiful instrument in the classical world with a robust and growing selection of beautiful classical and contemporary repertoire.
